Did you know that you can dine inside Cinderella’s castle inside Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World? Breakfast, lunch and dinner is offered at Cinderella’s Royal Table. While I was working at EPCOT my parents came to visit and we had a magical breakfast inside the castle. We chose breakfast mainly because of my work schedule. However, looking back I think breakfast is the perfect time to go.
Due to my work schedule we had to get a reservation for the earliest breakfast time. Our hotel shuttled us over to the park before the sun was up. I was so tired that I took a nap on a bench outside of the park before we were let inside. One of the best reasons to have an early reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table is getting to go inside the park before it officially opens. This means that there is hardly anyone on Main Street U.S.A. which makes for great pictures.
Once you check in and enter the restaurant Cinderella is there to greet you. After you take your group picture with her you are led upstairs to the dining area. While I have walked through the castle several times I had never been inside any of the rooms before. It is decorated with medieval decor.
If I ever eat here again I want to be sure to take more pictures. Everywhere I looked there was something cool to see.
Another advantage to having one of the first reservations is being able to get a table next to the window. We could see a few of the Fantasyland attractions from our seats. We had a fairy godmother who took care of us during our time inside the castle. Our breakfast began with an assortment of pastries. We really liked the pastries and our godmother was kind enough to bring some extra when we mentioned how great they were. In addition to the pastries you also get a breakfast entrée. I wish I could remember what we ordered but I can’t. I do remember that it was very tasty.
While we were eating we had visits from Snow White, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. I wanted to eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table because I wanted to dine inside the castle. The fact that it is a character breakfast is a great bonus. Dining with the characters can be expensive but it saves you time. We saw five characters during our breakfast. The only time we had to wait in line was to meet Cinderella but since we were one of the first groups we did not wait long. Lines to meet the characters can be lengthy so one character dining experience can be a great choice.
The prices are prefixed which is very common with character dining locations. The cost has gone up quite a bit since we dined here and since I was a cast member at the time we were able to get a discount. It is now $62.99 for an adult for breakfast. If you have the Disney dining plan you might be able to use it here depending on which one you have.
My family and I had an amazing time having breakfast here. We really enjoyed it but due to the cost I don’t know that we would do it again in the future. If you’re looking for a special and memorable dining experience inside the parks Cinderella’s Royal Table is the perfect place for that.
Have you ever dined inside the castle?
