Meeting Full House Cast Members   Recently updated !

Everywhere you look on the internet right now you have a high chance of seeing something related to Full House or the new spin off show Fuller House.  I am a huge Full House fan and have tickets for the first taping of Fuller House tonight so if all goes well I will be blogging about the taping on Monday.  Full House has been my one of my favorite television shows ever since I was a little kid.  I watched it everyday after school and have seen every single episode multiple times.  Not only have I been a big fan of the show but I have also been a big fan of the cast.  Full House was made up of quite a great group of people with some of my favorites being the Olsen twins, John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure.

I use to dream of getting the opportunity to meet the cast members but wasn’t sure if that dream would ever become a reality.  So far I have seen four of the cast members and have gotten to meet two of the four.  I am hoping that after the Fuller House taping that I will have seen all the cast members minus the Olsen twins.  I saw John Stamos in 2012 when he made an appearance at Disneyland to serve as the narrator for the Candlelight Processional.  I was working in Disneyland that night and only got to see him from a distance but it was still so great to see Uncle Jesse.  I also saw him two months later when I got to go to the red carpet for the 2013 Oscars.  I am really happy that I have had the opportunity to see him in person but I would love the chance to meet him and get a picture with him.

John Stamos does work with a charity called Project Cuddle and if you are willing to spend some money you can have the opportunity to meet him.  The best way to learn about seeing him at events with Project Cuddle is to follow John on twitter because he makes sure to keep his followers informed.  Typically in January or February he makes an appearance at a dinner in Southern California for Project Cuddle where tickets start at $100.  Not only am I a John Stamos fan but I am also a huge fan of the Beach Boys and loved the episodes of Full House where they made appearances.  I have seen the Beach Boys in concert twice and John has not played drums for them in either of those shows but I hope someday I can see them together.

When I found out the Candace would be on Dancing With The Stars I wanted to get tickets so that I could go to a taping and cheer her on.  I got the tickets and did not get a chance to meet her but I got to watch her take third place and I got to see Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) who was there to support Candace.  I had the privilege of being Candace Cameron Bure’s tour guide when she visited the Disneyland Resort while I was working there.  It was an incredible experience to get to spend the day with someone that I have been such a big fan of for a long time.  This is not a typical way to meet actors it just happened to work out for me while I was working there.  However, Candace has her third book coming out in August and will be doing at least three book signings.  On August 5th she will be signing books in New York, on August 6th she will be signing books in New Jersey and on August 17th she will be signing books in Los Angeles.  If you would like to have us get a book autographed for you at the LA signing please email contacts@mybelleelle.com in addition to book signings Candace also speaks at women’s conferences and churches so be sure to connect with her on social media to see about getting a chance to meet her.

The other Full House cast member that I have gotten to meet is Dave Coulier who played Joey.  In February of 2014 Dave played at a comedy club in Ventura, CA and a friend and I drove up to see him.  Dave is such a funny guy and unlike Bob Saget does not believe that comedy has to be dirty to be funny.  After the show Dave set up a table and had Cut It Out shirts for sale and he was more than happy to autograph mine for me.  In addition to signing autographs he is very happy and willing to take pictures.  I follow Dave on twitter which is how I found out about his show but you can also check out his show schedule on his website which will be posted at the bottom of the blog post.  Lori Loughlin has previously joined John Stamos at project cuddle events and last fall took pictures with fans at the Northpole screening at the Grove.  She will be appearing in the sequel to Hallmark’s Northpole movie so I am hoping that she will once again be meeting fans at a screening at the Grove in Los Angeles.

Andrea Barber loves to run and can be seen running in races all over Southern California including races held at Disneyland.  She is always posting about her races on twitter so if you want to try and run into her or see her at a race be sure to follow her.  Bob Saget does a lot of comedy shows like Dave Coulier but I cannot bring myself to go to one of his shows due to how dirty his comedy is.  Both he and Jodie Sweetin have previously written books but I was not around to try and meet them at the book signings.  I think that the best bet to try to meet most of the cast members will be to attend a Fuller House taping and be sure to check back here on Monday for information on how to get tickets and what to expect at the screening.  All of the cast minus the Olsen twins should be making at least one appearance on Fuller House including Scott Weigner who played DJ’s boyfriend Steve.

I hope that this gave you some ideas on how you might be able to meet some of the cast members who were a part of a show that been important to so many people.  If you know of any ways for fans to meet the cast members please mention it in the comments below.  Next I will mention each cast member individually with their social media and website information.  And if I ever happen to get any information on the Olsen twins I will be sure to post it.

How To Get Girl Meets World Tickets

When I was growing up Boy Meets World was one of the shows that I loved to watch.  The characters were relatable and the show didn’t shy away from dealing with important topics.  I was pretty excited when I found out that there would be a show called Girl Meets World that would focus on Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley Matthews.  I was interested in learning how to get Girl Meets World tickets so that I could go to a taping and see some of my favorite Boy Meets World characters and see what the new show had to offer.  However, I quickly learned just how popular these tickets were and how hard it would be to get a hold of some tickets.

One of my friends had managed to get some for her and her sister for Christmas but she told me that when the tickets went live between 8:00am and 8:30am you have to be ready to go and even then you might not get the tickets.  If you have ever tried getting tickets to a Big Bang Theory taping it is a similar situation.  Due to my work schedule at the time I was not able to be on the website during those times.  However, a few months later my friend let me know that she got four tickets to a Girl Meets World taping and that she wanted me to come along.  The taping was suppose to begin at 5:00pm and we got down to the studio around 1:30-2:00pm and we were not the first ones there.  The earlier you get there the better seat you will get and depending on the type of ticket you get arriving closer to 5:00pm might mean that you will not get in.  The day I went there was a large group of school kids coming on a field trip and they got priority in going into the studio.  I have to admit I was a bit jealous that this was a field trip what a cool school.

When you go to a taping you need to stay until it is over so that you do not disrupt filming.  Typically a taping beginning around 5:00pm will get out anywhere between 9:00-10:00pm on average.  Sometimes it is earlier and sometimes it is later it depends on how things go.  I would recommend that you bring snacks and if you want to bring snacks that come in wrappers take them out of the wrappers and put them into a ziplock bag.  That way you won’t make any loud noises that would cause them to stop filming.  When I was at the taping we were given a slice of pizza, a banana, and a water bottle.  However, I have been to tapings where all we got was a fun size candy bar.  In addition to coming prepared with food I would also encourage you to bring a jacket because sets get really hot due to all the lights so the air conditioner is typically very strong to help everything and everyone stay cool.

How do you get Girl Meets World tickets?  Well a company called Audiences Unlimited releases tickets for shows like Girl Meets World, The Big Bang Theory, and several Disney or ABC Family shows.  Tickets are released thirty days before an episode is set to be taped.  You can try to track trends of tapings to figure out when a particular show might appear on the show schedule but it can be very difficult since the days often change.  Some shows will not run out of tickets until a few days before they tape or they don’t run out at all.  But the popular shows will be filled up within minutes.  If you are looking to get tickets to see a show you will want to make sure that you are on your computer before 8:00am-8:30am M-F.  Some shows limit the number of tickets one person can get and if that is the case you can submit a new ticket request on their behalf as long as you have their address and phone number because you will need to put that information in.

The link to the ticket website is right here: http://www.tvtickets.com/fmi/xsl/shows/recordlist.xsl?

During the taping you will be expected to keep your phones in your pockets/purses because they do not want people tweeting about the episode or taking pictures of the set.  If you don’t want to turn your phone off at least put it on silent so that you aren’t the reason that they have to call cut.  You can get in a lot of trouble for that so make sure to behave.  I have been to tapings where the cast does not interact with the fans after the taping and I have been to tapings where photos and autographs were given.  Luckily Girl Meets World is a set where you have a great chance of getting several autographs and maybe even a picture or two.  If you want autographs make sure to bring a sharpie and something for them to sign like maybe a season of Boy Meets World?

The episode that they shot when I was at the taping was the Christmas episode of the first season.  It was around March to April when I went to the taping and the episode didn’t air until December so you get to see things way anyone else.  Since the show had yet to be on air they played the pilot episode for us before the taping began.  When the episode started Cory & Topanga were busying getting their apartment ready for the company that was coming for the holidays.  Shawn Hunter, Mr. & Mrs. Matthews and Cory’s younger brother Josh all came to celebrate the holidays with them.  If only Jack and Eric would have been there that day but it was still very cool to see some familiar faces from Boy Meets World.  Being an audience member at a live taping is really cool because you get to see how the actors handle it when they forget a line or mess up.  People on set are also listening to see how the audience responds to certain moments in the scene and they might realize that a joke isn’t working or something like that and decide to change the scene.

At the end of the taping the cast members were called out one by one to take a bow and then three of the child actors walked up to the audience area to sign autographs and Danielle and Ben came over to take pictures.  Where you sit is raised up from the ground and unless you have a VIP pass you do not get to walk down on set.  So if you want to try to get a picture or an autograph you need to make your way to the black bars which are in front of where you sit.  And if you want a picture ask politely and hand  your phone to the actors so that they can use it to take a selfie.  I would have loved to have gotten a picture with Rider Strong who played Shawn Hunter but he did not come over for pictures.  I hope this helps you should you decide to get tickets to a taping.  If you are interested in learning on how to get tickets to Dancing With the Stars or The Ellen Degeneres Show please check out these blog posts:
