Fuller House Taping Review   Recently updated !

Is it true that you can get free tickets to a taping of Fuller House? You got it dude!  Fuller House is currently taping season one at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank, California.  And you can get Fuller House tickets through audiences unlimited who also give out tickets for shows like The Big Bang Theory.  Be sure to check the bottom of the post for the link to their website.  Tickets for shows are posted Monday through Friday between 8am and 8:30am pst.  Fuller House tickets have been going pretty quick so it is best to be on the website around that time frame.  Tickets are posted thirty days before the show is set to tape and by taking a look at the previous dates for Fuller House you can get an idea of their taping schedule.

Both of the Fuller House tapings in July are on Fridays but the tapings for August are scheduled to take place on Thursdays.  So that means that tomorrow there should be Fuller House tickets available for the August 27th taping.  Here’s some helpful information that I have learned from getting Fuller House tickets myself.  When you go to the website you can click on the 30 day schedule and then click on any show to pull up an order form.  The order form is the one you want to keep refreshing on your screen between 8 to 8:30 because when the tickets finally becomes available in the dropbox this is the quickest way to get tickets.  For popular shows like Fuller House saving a couple seconds can make it possible to get tickets for your whole party.  Please note that you can only request one ticket at a time and if you do not have the contact information for all members of your group put your own address and email in.

It is best to know ahead of time who you plan to bring with you because you will need to put their name on the ticket.  However, in the faq section of the audiences unlimited website it does say that you can email them about changing the name.  Once your request has been processed you will see you ticket for the taping and if you are on your computer go ahead and print it out.  If you get the tickets from your phone just take a screenshot of the tickets and email it to yourself so that you can print it from your email.  If you are unable to print the tickets it is not the end of the world because they keep a list of all of the people who got tickets.  If you are over 18 years of age they will want to see a valid photo id like your drivers license when you check in.

Parking and check in will take place at Warner Bros. Gate 8 which is located off of Forest Lawn Dr.  I would encourage you to park on the lowest level because that is where you will check in.  How early should you plan on being there?  It is completely up to you but the tickets state that having a ticket does not guarantee that you will get in.  Getting in to the taping is on a first come first serve basis and invited guests of the cast get priority so the earlier you get there the better chance of you have of making sure that you get in.  However, this does mean that you could spend the majority of your day waiting in a parking garage so that is up to you how you wish to spend your day.  I arrived at Gate 8 at 11:30am to line up for a 3:30pm taping for Fuller House yesterday and there were already twenty six people ahead of me.  The first group got there at 9am.  They started checking us in around 2pm and everyone was able to make it in but that will not always be the case.

Fuller House was supposed to tape the first episode last week but it was canceled.  I got very excited about that because I thought that meant that the taping scheduled for July 24th, which I had tickets for, would now be the first episode.  For those of you who don’t know the first episode of Fuller House is suppose to have all the cast members from Full House minus the Olsen twins.  Jeff Franklin confirmed at the taping that even Nicky and Alex will be in that episode which will be taping on July 31st so if you have tickets to that screening you are extremely lucky!  And if you have an extra ticket please let me know.  This past Tuesday I got tickets for a Fuller House taping in August and found out a few hours later that they were releasing more tickets for the tapings on July 24th and July 31st.  Thinking that the 24th was the reunion episode I got tickets but then I got an email on Thursday saying that the taping on the 24th was canceled and would be rescheduled for Saturday.  Luckily I was still able to go to the taping but it is something to keep in mind for those of you who plan on coming to a taping from far away.  There is no guarantee that the tapings won’t get canceled and there is no guarantee that if they do get canceled it will be rescheduled before your trip ends.

Unfortunately cellphones and cameras are not allowed inside the taping.  It is strongly encouraged by the audiences unlimited team for you to leave your phone in your car.  However, for those who do not drive to the taping they will hold on to your phone and id for your during the taping.  They search your bags twice and make you walk through two metal detectors so there is no way to try to sneak one in.  I was really hoping they would let us bring our phones in because I wanted to try and take some pictures with the cast but I also brought Jodie Sweetin’s book and one of the seasons of Full House on dvd to try and get some autographs.  I wasn’t able to get any autographs after the taping but that doesn’t mean that they might not sign things after other tapings.  I just always try to come prepared for anything.  Speaking of coming prepared it can get cold on sound stages since they want to try to keep the actors and equipment cool from the hot lights so it is recommended that you bring a jacket.  Also bring snacks because you will get hungry even if you eat a big meal before hand.

It was around 3:00pm when I finally got to take a seat in the soundstage and I could hardly believe that I was about to watch a taping of Fuller House.  I grew up watching Full House and it has been my favorite show for so many years and I would have never imagined that I would get the chance to come and see the first taping of its spin off show.  At 3:30pm we were told that they wanted to show us the first episode of Full House prior to the taping.  I thought that it was interesting that they wanted to show the first episode instead of the last because you would think they would want us to remember how the show ended.  But by the time the taping ended I understood why they showed us the first episode of Full House and all I can say is that when you watch Fuller House episode two you will understand how it relates to the very first episode of Full House.  It is so amazing to see such an incredible show that means so much to the fans come full circle.  Warning for big Full House fans this series is going to make you emotional and nostalgic.

After we finished watching the first Full House episode Jeff Franklin, the creator of Full House and Fuller House, came out to thank us for coming to the very first taping.  We also got to see Bob Boyett and Tom Miller whose names you might recognize from the credits of Full House episodes.  He then introduced the cast, minus one important character who saved his entrance for the middle of the taping, and it was incredible to get to see the cast members reunited.  I only wish that Bob, Lori, Scott and Nicky and Alex could have been there.  But it was still incredible to see Dave, Andrea, Candace, Jodie and later in the taping John.  We were also introduced to the adorable children who play DJ and Andrea’s children and I am so thrilled to tell you that they are amazing.  I was a little hesitant about the show at first because I wasn’t sure how the children would impact the show but the casting directors have done an amazing job and I am so excited to see where the show will go.

Before the taping began Dave mentioned that even though he was not in the second episode he wanted to come and support his family because the Full House cast really is family.  To me this is one of the reasons that Full House still has such a huge fan base because of the incredible cast and the way that they have continued to be a part of each others lives over the years.  I am sorry to disappoint you by saying that I won’t be mentioning what happened in the episode because I do not want to spoil anything all I can say is that if you are a big Full House fan I think you will love Fuller House.  Not only will you see some familiar faces but you will also see a familiar set.  If you were a Boy Meets World fan but disappointed by Girl Meets World I don’t think that will be the case with Fuller House.  And it makes me so incredibly happy to say that.

The taping lasted for five hours and we were given a small sandwich and a water bottle but please consider bringing snacks.  Also make sure to wear comfortable shoes because it is a bit of a walk from where you park to the soundstage.  If you are looking for some food close to Warner Bros. after the taping I highly recommend Bob’s Big Boy which is less than three minutes from the studios.  If you get to go to a Fuller House taping I hope it is a dream come true like it was for me.  Now I just have to patiently wait for 2016 when the show will air on Netflix.  If you have any questions about the taping or getting tickets please ask them below and I will answer as quickly as possible.

Meeting Full House Cast Members   Recently updated !

davecoulier

Everywhere you look on the internet right now you have a high chance of seeing something related to Full House or the new spin off show Fuller House.  I am a huge Full House fan and have tickets for the first taping of Fuller House tonight so if all goes well I will be blogging about the taping on Monday.  Full House has been my one of my favorite television shows ever since I was a little kid.  I watched it everyday after school and have seen every single episode multiple times.  Not only have I been a big fan of the show but I have also been a big fan of the cast.  Full House was made up of quite a great group of people with some of my favorites being the Olsen twins, John Stamos and Candace Cameron Bure.

I use to dream of getting the opportunity to meet the cast members but wasn’t sure if that dream would ever become a reality.  So far I have seen four of the cast members and have gotten to meet two of the four.  I am hoping that after the Fuller House taping that I will have seen all the cast members minus the Olsen twins.  I saw John Stamos in 2012 when he made an appearance at Disneyland to serve as the narrator for the Candlelight Processional.  I was working in Disneyland that night and only got to see him from a distance but it was still so great to see Uncle Jesse.  I also saw him two months later when I got to go to the red carpet for the 2013 Oscars.  I am really happy that I have had the opportunity to see him in person but I would love the chance to meet him and get a picture with him.

John Stamos does work with a charity called Project Cuddle and if you are willing to spend some money you can have the opportunity to meet him.  The best way to learn about seeing him at events with Project Cuddle is to follow John on twitter because he makes sure to keep his followers informed.  Typically in January or February he makes an appearance at a dinner in Southern California for Project Cuddle where tickets start at $100.  Not only am I a John Stamos fan but I am also a huge fan of the Beach Boys and loved the episodes of Full House where they made appearances.  I have seen the Beach Boys in concert twice and John has not played drums for them in either of those shows but I hope someday I can see them together.

When I found out the Candace would be on Dancing With The Stars I wanted to get tickets so that I could go to a taping and cheer her on.  I got the tickets and did not get a chance to meet her but I got to watch her take third place and I got to see Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) who was there to support Candace.  I had the privilege of being Candace Cameron Bure’s tour guide when she visited the Disneyland Resort while I was working there.  It was an incredible experience to get to spend the day with someone that I have been such a big fan of for a long time.  This is not a typical way to meet actors it just happened to work out for me while I was working there.  However, Candace has her third book coming out in August and will be doing at least three book signings.  On August 5th she will be signing books in New York, on August 6th she will be signing books in New Jersey and on August 17th she will be signing books in Los Angeles.  If you would like to have us get a book autographed for you at the LA signing please email contacts@mybelleelle.com in addition to book signings Candace also speaks at women’s conferences and churches so be sure to connect with her on social media to see about getting a chance to meet her.

The other Full House cast member that I have gotten to meet is Dave Coulier who played Joey.  In February of 2014 Dave played at a comedy club in Ventura, CA and a friend and I drove up to see him.  Dave is such a funny guy and unlike Bob Saget does not believe that comedy has to be dirty to be funny.  After the show Dave set up a table and had Cut It Out shirts for sale and he was more than happy to autograph mine for me.  In addition to signing autographs he is very happy and willing to take pictures.  I follow Dave on twitter which is how I found out about his show but you can also check out his show schedule on his website which will be posted at the bottom of the blog post.  Lori Loughlin has previously joined John Stamos at project cuddle events and last fall took pictures with fans at the Northpole screening at the Grove.  She will be appearing in the sequel to Hallmark’s Northpole movie so I am hoping that she will once again be meeting fans at a screening at the Grove in Los Angeles.

Andrea Barber loves to run and can be seen running in races all over Southern California including races held at Disneyland.  She is always posting about her races on twitter so if you want to try and run into her or see her at a race be sure to follow her.  Bob Saget does a lot of comedy shows like Dave Coulier but I cannot bring myself to go to one of his shows due to how dirty his comedy is.  Both he and Jodie Sweetin have previously written books but I was not around to try and meet them at the book signings.  I think that the best bet to try to meet most of the cast members will be to attend a Fuller House taping and be sure to check back here on Monday for information on how to get tickets and what to expect at the screening.  All of the cast minus the Olsen twins should be making at least one appearance on Fuller House including Scott Weigner who played DJ’s boyfriend Steve.

I hope that this gave you some ideas on how you might be able to meet some of the cast members who were a part of a show that been important to so many people.  If you know of any ways for fans to meet the cast members please mention it in the comments below.  Next I will mention each cast member individually with their social media and website information.  And if I ever happen to get any information on the Olsen twins I will be sure to post it.

Pretty Little Liars Q&A

PLL

If you know any Pretty Little Liars fans please be sure to share this with them!  I have been a fan of Pretty Little Liars since I discovered the show back in 2012.  Ever since I found the show I have looked forward to new episodes on Tuesday nights and have dreaded the times when the show is of the air.  If you are familiar with Pretty Little Liars then I’m sure you have a ton of questions about the characters on the show and all of the crazy things that happen.  A while ago I had an idea for an event where Pretty Little Liars fans could meet up and watch a finale episode with members of the cast and crew.  After watching the episode the fans would get an opportunity to ask questions for any answers they don’t feel like the finale provided.  I tweeted the idea out to Marlene King, co creator as well as executive producer oh and she also writes episodes and has even directed a few, but nothing ever came of it.  However, this doesn’t mean that I’m giving up because a Pretty Little Liars q&a happened last night so you just never know!

I love when people who are apart of television shows or movies take time to interact with the fans in person.  I was thrilled when I found out via twitter that The Grove in Los Angeles would be hosting An Evening With Pretty Little Liars featuring Marlene King & Mandi Line the shows costume designer.  I just happened to be on twitter a little after 12:30am Tuesday and saw a tweet from The Grove saying that they were given away tickets to An Evening with Pretty Little Liars.  The tweet stated that the first fifty entries would win a ticket to the event.  I entered and was notified Tuesday evening that the event was full but there would be a standby line which would admit guests on a first come first serve basis should any space open up.  I was going to be in Los Angeles on Thursday anyways thanks to an audition so it was not out of my way to head over to The Grove to try and attend.  The event was sponsored by Citi so if you had a Citi card you just needed to show it to the concierge at The Grove and you would receive two tickets.

My grandpa and I arrived to The Grove around 3:00pm and I went to check with the theatre for more information on the standby line.  The email I received said the standby line would start at 6:00pm and I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t miss out.  I was informed by a gentleman working at Guest Services that even though the line technically wouldn’t begin until 6:00pm he suggested that I go ahead and form a line myself.  Well I needed food first so we headed down towards the farmers market and had a delicious lunch but immediately headed back to the theatre because I figured my chances of getting in would be good if I was the first in the line.  This is when I wish I would have checked my email.  At 3:00pm I received an email saying that due to cancelations spaces had opened up and if I had responded to that email I could have reserved two tickets and spent the next few hours enjoying The Grove.  Of course I didn’t see this email till after I was heading home but I got in and so my mission was accomplished.

150618_184048.jpg-ppuchroma-2f98392a23ebb9f6f045c12f41312c87

It was not until 6:00pm that they began checking us in and because we had waited so long and since they had extra space we were the first ones they checked in.  At check in they gave us our wristbands and a parking ticket that was good for free parking for the whole day which was such a great surprise.  Once we put our wristbands on we headed up to where a green screen and a  camera were set up.  I had the choice of two Pretty Little Liars pictures to put myself in.  Once I selected my picture I stood in front of the green screen and smiled though now I wish I would have looked concerned or scared so I would have blended in better with the girls and it would have been even better if I had been wearing black but hey it’s a fun souvenir!  After the picture we were given an big bag of popcorn and a drink and then went to the theatre to get a seat.  Since we were the first ones in there we had the pick of any seat minus the ones with the reserved signs.  I picked the center of the third row which ended up being a great spot and in the reserved seats in front of us were writers and set designers so I think I picked the seats well.

alison

What I loved about this event is that they decorated the q&a area.  In the middle were three chairs and on both sides of the chairs where mannequins modeling some of my favorite looks from Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Alison.  Next to each mannequin were sketches and pictures of some of the best looks for each character.  It was really fun to see the pictures and remember some of the really cool outfits.  The outfit on Alison’s mannequin was a beautiful blue blazer over a dress and a look that I just love.  Spencer’s mannequin had the dress she wore in the dollhouse for A’s demented prom scene from the finale on season 5 which Mandi shared that Troian helped her design.  Aria’s mannequin had her dress from the episode where the girls went to a masquerade.  Hanna had two mannequins one had her look from a trip to Ravenswood and the other had a tomboy look that I don’t remember from any particular episode.

MarleneKing

In addition to the beautiful costume pieces that were brought in the big screen had lots and lots of pictures from the show and also a ran a few questions while we were waiting for it to begin.  About thirty minutes before it began Marlene came in with her family but didn’t sit down with them.  A few fans approached her and I decided to as well because she was by herself and not busy with her family.  I told her what a huge fan I am and how nice it was to meet her.  She was so sweet to say that it was nice to meet me too and even wanted to know my name.  Marlene is really quite incredible she has is a beautiful writer, she wrote Now & Then way before Pretty Little Liars, and is doing such a great job with the show.  She takes so much time to interact with fans via social media and just seems so genuinely nice.  As an actress I really hope to be blessed to get to work with her in the future but for now I am so excited that I got to meet her and listen to her talk about this amazing show that she co created.

pllq&A

The q&a was amazing because they not only talked about costumes but they also shared bits and pieces about the show.  I think they are all trying to be very careful right now in discussing the show because they don’t want to give anything away, like who Charles DiLaurentis really is, but I did get excited when I noticed that Marlene referred to A as he.  A lot of people think that CeCe Drake is A and of course I think she’s super suspicious but I think that CeCe or Melissa could be Black Veil.  I happen to believe that Wren is A so hearing her say he made me think I may be on to something.  I also loved that she mentioned that they like to play with the audience.  They know that a lot of people think that Aria is A so they liked having Mona called Aria “Big A”.  Oh and I know that a lot of people think the creepy ghost girl who visited Ashley Marin is somehow related to the Sara Harvey but Marlene confirmed that she was just a ghost to creep us out.  Also the creepy twins that have appeared to the girls in Rosewood & Ravenswood are also just a creep factor and nothing more.

I loved hearing them talk about the cast and Mandi mentioned how she thinks that Troian and Keegan (Toby) have such cool style.  Both Marlene and Mandi agreed that Torian is probably the furthest from her character in real life out of all the girls.  They also mentioned that Shay wouldn’t dress like Emily so she’s pretty far from her character style wise.  I have several videos from the q&a and will have the links to the videos on my youtube page at the bottom of the post.  After the hostess asked her questions five members of the audience had an opportunity to win season 5 on dvd by answering questions and it’s a shame they didn’t call on me because I knew the answers.  If you are a Pretty Little Liars  fan I would really encourage you to watch the videos because I think there’s some fun and interesting stuff that they say.  In addition to finding out about the event through twitter you can also follow Marlene and Mandi on social media because they both shared information about the event as well.  If you want to find out information about other events that happen at The Grove be sure to follow their blog on there website or follow them on twitter.

How I Met Mario Lopez

Meeting Mario Lopez

In 2014 Mario Lopez released a book about his life called Just Between Us. I have been a fan of Mario’s for a long time since I grew up watching him on Saved By The Bell. Luckily for me Mario continues to be an active part of my life since he is the evening host on a radio station in Southern California and he films Extra about five days a week in front of the entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood. I follow Mario on twitter and got very excited when he started tweeting that he had a book coming out. I love finding out behind the scene info on my favorite shows and also wanted to know more about the man behind the adorable dimples.

One of my favorite things about living in Southern California is getting to meet so many people in the entertainment industry that I love through book signings. Once I found out about Mario’s book I made sure to keep an eye out for any information about book signings. I learned through twitter that Mario would be doing a book signing at a Barnes and Nobles at The Americana at Brand in Glendale. This was my first time to attend a Barnes and Nobles book signing so I made sure to do research before hand so that I did not end up ruining my chance to meet Mario.  Almost all book signings are wrist banded events.  While the book signings will take place in the evenings 99% of the time, with the exception of a few Saturday morning signings, wristbands are given out starting at 8:00am on a first come first serve basis.  Your wristband will have a group letter on it and when you return for the signing you will line up according to your group letter.  If you are a Barnes and Nobles member you get priority which is a great perk!

Depending on the popularity of the author the wristbands could be gone within an hour or they could still be an hour before the signing.  If you cannot make it there in the morning to get a wristband call and find out whether or not they are still available.  In order to get the wristband you need to purchase the book being signed by the Barnes and Nobles that is hosting the event.  Typically each guest can purchase up to five books and receive a wristband for each book if you need it.  For the Mario Lopez signing I purchased a book for myself and for a friend who would be joining me in the evening we each got a wristband and each receive a personalized autograph in our book as well as a picture.  If you are going to get books signed for people who are not there please note that only one book can be personalized so if your friends want their book to be extra special then they at least need to show up for the signing if they cannot make it there in the morning.  It is also important to note that the authors will only sign the book that they are promoting.  They will not sign previous books or any other items due to time.

If you go alone do not fear because there should always be a Barnes and Nobles employee around to take a picture for you just make sure to have your camera ready.  You do not need to worry about bringing a sharpie as there will be a good supply of those ready to avoid any problems.  While you are waiting in your assigned groups for the signing to begin a pad of post it notes and a pen (bring one just in case) will be passed around for you to write the name you would like them to personalize your book with.  They do this to help save time but also to make sure that your name is spelled correctly.  Please make sure that you have written your name neatly enough that they will be able to read it.  You will have a few moments while your book is being signed to talk to Mario or whoever it may be that you are meeting.  I told Mario how nice it was to meet him since I grew up watching him on Saved By The Bell.  It’s not a requirement to have something to say but it will be an awkward moment for both of you if you just stare silently at them.

Mario Lopez

If you have ever been to The Grove in Los Angeles you will find Americana at Brand very similar.  There are other great shops and places to eat so I would encourage you to explore and enjoy the area while you are there.  Oh and don’t forget to have Barnes and Nobles validate your parking.  For more information on upcoming book signings be sure to check out the Barnes and Nobles link below.
